Our goal is to provide a peaceful and secure atmosphere for all our campers. To help achieve this, we’ve established campground guidelines that promote a friendly and harmonious atmosphere for all campers to enjoy.

General Rules

  • Quiet Time: Sun-Thurs 10pm-8am, Fri-Sat 11pm-8am. No yelling voices, music, or TVs that carry beyond your site is allowed at any time.

  • Know where your kids are & what they are doing, always. Please go over the Campground Rules with them so that they know what is expected. Kids need to be at their sites by 10pm.

  • Campsites are for 1 camping unit and 2 cars. Short-stay Campers with their immediate family may have 1 unit and a small tent with Manager’s approval.

  • ALL Guests MUST be registered, no overnight Guests allowed for short-stay Campers, Campers are responsible for their Guests’ behavior and conduct.

  • No minor children or Guests can occupy a campsite without the registered Adult Camper present.

  • Stay on the Common Areas, even if there isn’t anyone present at a Campsite, please go around the Sites.

  • Campfires need to be supervised or completely extinguished. Do not burn trash, and ask for a metal garbage can to dispose of cold ashes.

  • No outside Juneau County wood allowed, WRC is in a forest area & we love our trees, leave your wood at home. (DNR Law). Cutting trees for firewood is strictly prohibited.
  • The site you will use is clean and natural when you pull in, it needs to look like that when you pull out. No trash in the fire ring, keep the site tidy during your stay.

  • Vandalism, theft, drunkenness, and disturbances are grounds for immediate eviction from the Campground with no refund.

  • No fireworks or fire arms allowed.

  • Check Out Time is 11am

Pond Rules

Swim at your own risk, no lifeguard on duty. The water depth varies -NO DIVING. Children must be supervised by an adult. No bikes, glass, dogs, or littering on the beach. No swimming after dusk. Fishing is Catch ‘N Release, the fish like it when you bend back the hook barbs.

Recreation Area

Open 8am -10pm
Playing is not over until all equipment is returned to the storage containers, P.I.A. – Put It Away. Our dog, Elsie, will pop any balls she gets a hold of, do not let her near any balls, she has tennis balls to play with.

Dogs

Dogs maybe part of your family, but they are not part of other Campers’ families: your family member is not allowed to leave poo on the grounds, make excessive noise, run loose to other campsites, play on the beach, and disrupt other people’s enjoyment at the Campground. They will not understand these rules, it is your responsibility to help them behave in this setting.

Garbage

Aluminum cans are collected for the Mauston No-kill Animal Shelter. Please save your cans for the blue barrels by the Recycling dumpster.

Do not burn trash in any firepit, dispose of garbage correctly. There is a RECYCLING DUMPTSER and a GARBAGE DUMPSTER, if you do not understand what goes into each of these units, let us know so that we can help get items into the right place.

Cigarette butts are NOT part of nature, let’s keep it that way.

All Motorized Vehicles

To keep children & pets safe, 5 mph speed limit applies to the entire Campground no matter what you are driving. Watch your speed when driving any kind of vehicle.

Any motorized vehicles must be driven by a licensed driver and must carry insurance.
